The Martins Funeral Directors have once again created a thoughtful and moving window display in support of the 2025 Poppy Appeal. The display, photographs of which have been shared, has already drawn warm attention from the local community.
At the heart of this year’s tribute is the image of a local soldier whose family has a long‑standing relationship with the team at The Martins. He died suddenly during the first phase of the Covid pandemic, and each year his family kindly grant permission for him to be featured as part of the remembrance display. Their generosity allows the community to honour not only his memory, but the service and sacrifice of all who have served.
The team at The Martins are proud to support the Poppy Appeal annually, and the display stands as a poignant reminder of the importance of remembrance, reflection and gratitude.
