The Martins Funeral Directors, a well‑established funeral home serving Crawley for more than 20 years, has joined Funeral Partners.
Founded by Peter and Jenny Martin in 2001, the business has built a strong reputation for personal service and deep community connections. Funeral Manager Adrian Cartwright, who has been with the funeral home for 16 years, said the move secures its long‑term future while preserving its identity.
“It’s still the same team, the same faces, and the same care our families have always known,” Adrian said. “Funeral Partners understands that The Martins’ strength lies in its local knowledge and personal service. They’ve reassured us that our independence, identity and community focus will remain at the heart of everything we do.”
Adrian and his colleagues — Ian Austin and Natalie Cantellow — have continued the founders’ legacy, supporting families from all faiths and backgrounds. The team previously worked under Alex Jones Funeral Directors, who acquired the business when the Martins retired in 2017.
Adrian said the partnership with Funeral Partners will bring valuable investment and support. Planned improvements include branch refurbishment and updated technology, while the name, ethos and team will remain unchanged.
